Daher TBM Eclipse Flight

Dr John C Taylor took to the sky to enjoy the March 20 2015 Solar Eclipse, flying his turboprop aeroplane M-USCA from Stornoway to close to the Faroe Islands.

Technology Correspondent for Sky News, Tom Cheshire, shared the spectacular flight and produced some great footage in a superb report.  You can see the story below.

The aeroplane brand, Daher, were very impressed with the flight and ran a story on their own website that you can read here.

Nicolas Chabbert, Senior Vice President of Daher’s Airplane Business Unit said, “We salute the contribution of Dr. Taylor, an accomplished TBM pilot and inventor, to this scientific endeavor.  It once again underscores the capabilities of our TBM aircraft family, and the imagination of its owner-pilots.”

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves, Monsieur Chabbert !
